Beauty: Boot's Haul

23 September 2013

There comes a point, I would say every few months where I just need to take a trip to Boots and spend, spend, spend. And yes, that did happen just recently. If you were to take a look inside my shopping bag I lugged away with me, here is what you would of found...

I couldn't resist trying the new Samantha Chapman Duo-Fibre Brushes any longer, they were on an offer for buy one get one half price so I obviously couldn't walk away without taking advantage now could I? I choose to get the Real Techniques Setting Brush too. The offer just kept on creeping up on everything I was interested in so I guess there's an ongoing theme here, each product comes in two's.

Next was on to Nail Varnish's. I know I have a large collection as it is but I thought a few more wouldn't hurt. OK five more. But who's counting? From the Salon Pro Lycra Rimmel Collection by Kate Moss I picked up two deep shades, Urban Purple and Rock n Roll. I then found a light pink toned shade, No. 300 Easy Going, from Sinful Colors that I thought I would try out. For £1.99 could I say no? The next two were a gamble I thought I would give a go and they were the Color Show - Vintage Leather by Maybelline. I'm not too sure I will like the Matt finish on my nails but the colours I'm going to try are Mudslide Tote and Red Grained, I suppose a glossy top coat could always be added.

Onto lips and I think I've realised a slight obsession with Lip Crayons. They're so easy to apply and stain the lips so well that they are often my go to lip products on most occasions. I found these Lasting Finish Colour Rush ones by Rimmel in The Redder the Better and Drive me Nude, which I can't wait to try!

I'm a sucker when it comes to hearing good reviews on products, therefor this purchase was down to Lilly Pebbles from What I Heart Today and her love for the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Paint in Rich Russet and Golden Bronze.

Peering down in my shopping basket ashamed of how crazy I had gone I thought I better stop. Tie myself up. Or a more sensible idea, just simply remove myself from the shop.  But nope, I found myself adding two more products to the basket. Soap and Glory's Kick Ass Concealer and Super-Colour Fabu Lipstick in Man Trap. Whoops.

A slap on the wrist was needed as I walked towards the checkout. But hey, that Boots Loyalty card is loving me.
