Beauty: YSL - Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation || Review

21 September 2013

To be honest I've never been one to wear higher end foundations as being a Boots addict I'm always buying new ones from there. However it was one thing on my list that I knew I wanted to try when I passed through Duty Free last month. I was uming and urming to which one to try first as I've heard good reviews on so many. I opted for YLS's Le Teint Touche Éclat and I think that you get quite a good amount for the price you pay.

I was colour matched to the shade BD 40 which is the perfect shade for me. I was worried at first as I knew I was going to get a tan on my face so it would be too light. But since being back from holiday I've actually only just started using foundation again and even now I don't think I really need to. For once my face has a nice natural glow to it and my skin hasn't been too bad. For the point of this review I have however been wearing the foundation for a few days to get a feel of the texture and how it applies on my skin.

I was so pleased with the texture when applying this foundation, it's so light and you can hardly feel the product on your face meaning it isn't at all cakey. It leaves a glowing complexion and helps to illuminate your face whilst still covering those annoying blemish's. When I purchased this, I was also given the YSL Foundation Brush as a gift. I did try applying it with the brush although I believe it works better when applied with my hands and then buffed in with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Overall I am so pleased I went with the Le Teint Touche Éclat. I love the packaging and the way it applies. I'm now considering the Highlighting Pen too. Has anyone else tried this foundation by YSL? What are your opinions?
