Fashion: Topshop, H&M, Primark & New Look Haul

29 September 2013

As the colder months creep up on us there is no better time than to go shopping for those cosy knitted jumpers, tartan blouses and over sized dresses that look great with thick black tights. On this particular crazy spree I went for varied prints and colours that I thought were great for A/W. So onto what I bought that made my bank balance weep...

Pastel Blue Knitted Jumper: This was a spare of the moment buy. I was actually taking something back to swap for a bigger size but my local Primark didn't stock it. Instead of getting my money back I obviously had to buy something else, didn't I? Silly question. I fell in love with the colour and fit of this kitted cropped jumper so it just had to come home with me. I now have my eye on the other colours too.

Tartan Sheer Blouse: As it's all about tartan this A/W I thought this sheer blouse was perfect. The colours work so well together and for £19.99 it was a great price. I'm looking forward to layering it with a jumper and my khaki green skinnies from Zara.

Black & Pink Light Camis: Every girl needs one, or two of these in their wardrobe. They fit so well and can be paired with so much for a basic look or it can also be dressed up for an evening look. I opted for the black and light pink one. Teamed with a statement necklace = a perfect simple outfit.

Lettered Knitted Jumper: I spotted this over sized jumper in H&M and fell in love with the style. I chose to get a larger size to be all warm and snug. You can't say no to an over sized jumper that's perfect for A/W.

Black Pearl Collar Jumper: Although this jumper is a thin material, the pearl collar is so pretty and detailed that it can bring a simple outfit to life. Tucked into a little skirt or paired with some skinny jeans this jumper is a statement that can be mixed and matched with a lot.

Staring at Stars Floral Paisley Dress: Yes, an over sized item has popped up I this haul again. I initially didn't know whether to buy this dress as it was quite pricey but after a hard think I just had to get it. I can't say no to a brightly coloured paisley print and this style dress is great for all seasons. It made it's way to the checkout with me and I am so glad it did. Sorry, not sorry.

Cooperative Poplin Shirt in Floral Print: I thought this floral blouse was quite unique and different and something I wouldn't usually go for but after trying it on I thought I would just go for it. On the hanger it does look quite boxy and not very feminine but once on it does look really flattering and I love the print!
