These Are Few of my Favourite Things: September

30 September 2013

Yep it's that time of the month already. Another month has been and gone. We are now leading into our tenth month of 2013. Scary. But enough of the dwelling, here's what I've been loving through the month of September... In terms of makeup if you saw my Weekly Catch Up that was posted last night you would of noticed that I have been loving the L'Oreal Glamshine Stain Splash, I love the glossy finish they leave on the lips. It's disappointing that they don't have the largest of colour ranges but they are all so wearable for everyday. The colours I have are 400 Eve, 102 Romy and 200 Princess. Another beauty favourite has been the Dr Jart+ Beauty Balm. I still have a slight tan from my Summer Holiday so I haven't been feeling the need to pile on the foundation so this has been perfect. It brightens the skin and gives such a flawless look whilst hydrating it too. I love the packaging and the pump that it comes with.

After a month now of being back from Turkey my skin has also become quite dry, particularly on my legs, this is where Soap & Glory Butter Yourself has come in handy to smother myself in after a long bath. A bit of a random favourite this month has been Sudocrem. I've been using it on the burn I have on my for head and it has definitely been helping it to heal, I'm just hoping it doesn't scar. I've been pretty basic with my hair this month, a quick spritz of Bamboo Style Boho Waves and I'm good to go. It's a weightless texture that gives your hair a bit of added volume which is just what my hair needs. On my nails this month has been the Rimmel Long Lasting Finish in 193 Black Cherries, I'm really into my dark nails at the moment and there will be a blog post on this coming very soon.

Burning candles is a habit of mine, whatever I'm doing there will always be one burning in my room, Strawberry Buttercream Yankee Candle has been the one for me these past few weeks, it can be quite a sickening scent but perfect for this time of year when Summer has just ended and a new season is upon us. Finally my This Week Desk Planner is a stationary love this September. I've been loving using it to finalise what I have planned on each day and to scribble down my many lists of 'to do's'.

What's been your favourite thing this month?
