Beauty: Bourjois Does My Makeup

24 October 2013

During the Company Magazine Beauty Forum, (you can read about it here) I got the chance to have my makeup done by one of the girls at Bourjois and I loved what she created with my eyes. I tend to struggle with eyeshadow on most days as I never believe my eyes suit a lot of colours and dark eyeliner gives them an awful effect however I was happy with the outcome.

I already had the base of my makeup done with the YSL Touche Eclat Foundation that I have previously reviewed here and the Clinique High Impact mascara was packed onto the lashes before hand. The makeup artist only used two products on my eye lids which were the Little Round Pot Intense in 08 and a waterproof eye pencil.

Using a fluffy rounded brush she packed on the colour, keeping close to my lash line and then concentrated on buffing out the edges towards my brow bone until the colour faded. With what was left on the brush she took it under my bottom water line and then added a small flick, starting from only the first quarter of my outer eye.

I loved the simple look and how it gave me eyes some definition without being too much. I have never tried any of the Bourjois eye shadows before so they will be sure to be put straight onto my 'to buy list' ready for me to attempt to recreate the look.
