Beauty: Pixi Glow Tonic

04 October 2013

I thought it was about time that the Pixi Glow Tonic had a mention on A Journal of Everything as I have been using it in my daily routine for a while now and am impressed with the results. On to the product inside that first really rose to a beauty hype when the amazing Caroline Hirons mentioned it and of course if you're within the beauty blogging community you will listen to her advise and opinions as she knows what she's talking about.

The idea around the Glow Tonic is that is has only simple ingredients that doesn't contain any fragrance or strong colouring, it's therefor great for sensitive skin.  As a simple product with no 'nasties' the tonic is oil and alcohol free which is gentle when applied to the face. The aloe vera and witchhazel that it contains also helps to tone and smooth the texture of your skin. The Glow tonic can also be used to lightly exfoliate as the Glycolic Acid helps to loosen the dead skin cells. The packaging is pretty basic but I think that's one thing that initially drew me to the product. It's so simple.

I use the Glow Tonic twice a day, morning and night as my toner after my cleanser and think it works great. For £16 it doesn't break the bank and I highly recommend people to try it out. It can be bought from the Pixi Store just off of Carnaby Street.
