These are a few of my favourite things: October

05 November 2013

So it's that time again guys. My favourite things of the month. Some have got me through the weeks of October and some have been hidden gems that I have re-found my love for. Don't you just love it when that happens? The first gem product that has been a reoccurring product that I have been applying to the pesty blemishes upon my face was the Dainty Doll Concealer 004. I had received this months ago from Fragrance Direct, merrily just because it was ridiculously cheap and I never actually used it. I thought I would give it a whirl a few weeks ago and was surprised at the coverage it had. Good bye blemishes. I'm usually a wash, leave to dry naturally and go type of girl but this month I've also been loving' my Hair Straighteners. An odd one I know but it has been the first time I have actually used them in years and that is no exaggeration. They are so old that I don't even know what brand they are as the logo is non-exisistant on them. *adds new straighteners to christmas list*. A bath product that got me through the month was the Radox Muscle Therapy Bath Soak that I just quickly picked up one evening. I suffered from bad leg pains this month due too much exercise so filling my bath with this each night was ah-mazing. Yeap you read that right,  exercise, your eyes aren't deceiving you. Next up are the Emite Eye lash Curlers that I received in a Glossybox a few months back. I've enjoyed using them everyday to give my eyelashes an instant curl that holds well. My last favourite for the month of October has been magazines. As a magazine publishing student I'm forever reading the latest issue of Company, Cosmo and whatever else I can get my hands on and this month Company Magazine has been at the top of my reading list. The content throughout the is great and they are always connecting with their readers through social. This month they have been creating their Social Media issue for January at the Google HQ so I've been enjoying catching up with what they have been getting up to and gained an insight into what the industry is all about.

What have your favourite things of October been?
