Buying: Kiko Cosmetics

26 May 2014

I had been meaning to try out some Kiko products for a while now and when I spotted Amelia's Save or Splurge post mentioning their Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow's I took a detour home from university one week via the Regents Street store. It was inevitable that I walked away with a few more bits than I had planned to leave with but I did get the lip stick for free so it was a thumbs up success.

BB Glow Compact || £11.90 ||: I'm still meaning to try this product but I thought that this foundation may be a great one for the hotter months. Kiko explains it as the perfect combination of makeup and skincare that combines moisturising and protective active ingredients with the power of a foundation. The compact contains Vitamin E and has an SPF of 20 so great for when in the sun.

Velvet Touch Creamy Stick Blush || £7.90 ||: This is a product that I have definitely fallen in love with over the past few weeks. The cream blush is super pigmented and the stick form makes the application of the product so convenient. I have been dotting the product onto my cheek bones directly from the stick and then using a buffing brush to blend it in. The cream formula blends well and creates a soft pink glow to my cheeks.

Crystal Sheer Glossy Lipstick || Rose Quartz || £6.90: Throughout the Easter period Kiko had an offer wherby you would receive a free lipstick of your choice if you took back your receipt within a certain time period. So of course I had to take them up on the offer and I chose this lovely sheer lipstick. I must admit that I was drawn in by the packaging but I also really like the formula. I opted for an everyday nude pink although they come in a range of twenty colours.

Long Lasting Stick Shadow || £6.90: These sticks were the main reason I had gone into Kiko in the first place and they haven't disappointed. They have a creamy formula that is really easy to blend. They are great to smudge along the whole eye or to just intensify your outer socket.

So that's what I've been buying from Kiko recently. I'm sure there will be a few more 'Buying' features popping up on AJOE over the next few weeks as I have been doing quite a bit of shopping. Whoopsie.
